Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased 15% year on year in December 2023 to 88,516 tons, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Tuesday.
EMRA's LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports decreased by 2.67% to 355,727 tons in December 2023, with imports from Algeria, the US, Russia and Kazakhstan.
The country's LPG exports, however, increased by 74.9% year on year to 60,908 tons in December.
The top ten destinations that Türkiye exported LPG to were Switzerland, Greece, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Tunisia, Romania, Austria, Marshall Islands, Lebanon, Ukraine, Northern Cyprus, Seychelles, Bulgaria and the Turkish Free Zones.
Total LPG sales reached 340,967 tons.
