Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 23% to 73,024 tons in February 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Tuesday.
EMRA's LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports decreased by 11.4% to 254,876 tons in February 2024, with the majority of imports from Algeria, the US, Russia and Norway.
The country's LPG exports also rise by 47.3% year on year to 47,137 tons in February.
The top ten destinations that Türkiye exported LPG to were Tunisia, Germany, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Northern Cyprus, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Lebanon, Seychelles, Romania and Ukraine.
Total LPG sales reached 307,516 tons.
