Turkiye Finans Participation Bank is providing €107 million in finance for the 100-megawatt (MW) Kocatepe wind power plant to be located in Afyon, a central Anatolian province in Turkey, a statement from the bank said Tuesday.
The bank confirmed that Turkiye Finans Participation Bank is the project's only Turkish institutional lender.
The plant, which will be constructed by Turkey's Guris Holding, will consist of 25 turbines each with an installed capacity of 4 MW.
The plant's construction is expected to be completed in 2020 and to be fully operation in March 2020 at the latest.
The Kocatepe wind plant is expected to produce 255 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity per year.
