Turkish LPG company Aygaz's income earned between January and September this year increased by 77.8 percent to 492.2 million Turkish Liras ($127.2 million) from 276.8 million liras in the same period of 2016, the company said late Wednesday.
Aygaz said that as of the end of September 2017, the company's total LPG sales reached 1.64 million tons securing its lead position in the market.
The company said that LPG exports and transit sales constitute a significant portion of the company's overseas sales revenue and reached 373 thousand tons.
It added that 97 percent more revenue from LPG exports and transit sales worth $167 million compared to the same period of 2016 was made during the first nine months of 2017.
According to the company, 'cylinder, small bulk gas tanks, valves, pressure regulators and similar items used in LPG sales, distribution and consumption are produced within the company.'
Aygaz also added that under the company's investment plan for 2017, total investments for the renovation of cylinders used in LPG deliveries, and in the modernization and renovation of the facilities reached 80.4 million liras in the nine-month period.
