Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 17.31% to 191,911 tonnes in February compared to the same month of 2020, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from the US, Algeria, the Bahama Islands, Kazakhstan, the UK, Russia and Norway.
Turkey's LPG production in February also fell to 59,419 tonnes, marking a year-on-year drop of 33.65%.
Exports, however, saw an increase of 27.06% to 22,750 tonnes in February from 17,905 tonnes in February 2020.
Total LPG sales in February decreased by 14.3% to around 256,353 tonnes, comprising 199,530 tonnes of autogas, 49,143 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 7,679 tonnes of bulk LPG.
