Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 9.3% to 312,987 tonnes in July compared to the same month of 2021, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that the country's imports originated from the US, Algeria, Kazakhstan and Russia.
LPG production in July increased to 100,693 tonnes, marking a year-on-year rise of 8.1%.
Exports also rose to around 34,802 tonnes in July, showing a jump of 643.5% compared to the same month last year.
Total LPG sales in July decreased by 10.5% to around 392,175 tonnes, comprising 326,591 tonnes of autogas, 58,770 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 6,812 tonnes of bulk LPG.
