Turkiye's liquefied petroleum gas imports up 4.6% in February

- LPG production increases year on year by 44.2% to 85,679 tonnes, according to Turkiye's energy watchdog

Turkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports increased by 4.6% to 200,884 tonnes in February compared to the same month of 2021, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkiye's imports originated from Algeria, the US, Spain, Kazakhstan, Russia and Malta.

Turkiye's LPG production in February increased to 85,679 tonnes, marking a year-on-year rise of 44.2%.

Exports also rose to around 47,993 tonnes in February, showing a jump of 110.9% compared to the same month last year.

Total LPG sales in February decreased by 0.3% to around 255,620 tonnes, comprising 199,813 tonnes of autogas, 46,723 tonnes of bottled LPG, and 9,082 tonnes of bulk LPG.
