Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production decreased by 11.7% to 65,629 tons in May 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Tuesday.
EMRA's LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports decreased by 2.7% to 313,121 tons in May, with the majority of imports from the US, Algeria, Russia and Kazakhstan.
The country's LPG exports rose by 148.7% year on year to 28,588 tons in May.
Türkiye exported LPG to Ukraine, Romania, Lebanon, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bulgaria, Germany, China and Turkish Free Zones.
Total LPG sales reached 342,707 tons.
