Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production decreased year on year in January by 20.9% to 58,317 tons, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Friday.
EMRA's LPG Market Report showed the country's LPG imports increased by 124.9% to 336,655 tons in January, with imports from Algeria, the US, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania and Nigeria.
The country's LPG exports also increased by 120.3% to 45,630 tons during the same month. The top five countries that Türkiye exported LPG to were Lebanon, Switzerland, the Seychelles, Romania, Bulgaria, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Ukraine.
Meanwhile, total LPG sales reached 362,263 million tons, of which 72.01% came from autogas sales, 14.37% from bulk LPG and 13.62% from bottled LPG.
