Türkiye's LPG production down 27% in September 2024

- EMRA's data for September 2024 shows 29.5% fall in LPG imports and 39.5% decrease in exports

​​​​​​​Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production decreased by 27% to 69,382 tons in September 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Thursday.

EMRA's LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports decreased by 29.5% to 236,022 tons in September 2024, with the majority of imports from Algeria, the US, Russia and Kazakhstan.

The country's LPG exports also fell by 39.9% year on year to 24,789 tons in September.

The top ten destinations that Türkiye exported LPG to were the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Romania, Ukraine, Northern Cyprus, Germany, Seychelles, Lebanon, and Türkiye's free zones.

Total LPG sales reached 352,301 tons.
