Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 12.11% to 75,091 tons in June 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Thursday.
EMRA's LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports decreased by 20.22% to 307,571 tons in June, with the majority of imports from Algeria, Russia, US and Kazakhstan.
The country's LPG exports rose by 74.13% year on year to 26,763 tons in June.
Türkiye exported LPG to Lebanon, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Romania and Germany.
Total LPG sales reached 389,749 tons in June.
