Russian natural gas exports decreased by 27.6% in the first 5 months of the year compared to the same period of 2021, energy company Gazprom reported on Wednesday.
Gazprom's natural gas production totaled 211.4 billion cubic meters, during this period, posting a 4.8% loss compared to last year.
Natural gas exports to countries outside the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) decreased by 27.6% for the period between January and May.
Countries in the CIS received 61 billion cubic meters of gas.
Meanwhile, Gazprom stated that natural gas exports to China increased, but refrained from revealing total valume.
