The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 369% to 7.5 million Turkish liras on Friday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to around 1.6 million liras.
On Friday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 10,623 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 714,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received 70.96 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 32.83 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Saturday.
