The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 176.5% to 15.9 million Turkish liras on Wednesday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Thursday.
Total trade on Tuesday amounted to 5.75 million Turkish liras.
On Wednesday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,850.66 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 1.24 billion cubic meters.
Türkiye received around 211.20 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Wednesday.
US$1 equals 29 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT) on Thursday.
