Turkey’s liquefied petroleum gas production decreased by 11.45 percent for December 2014, according to the country's energy marketing watchdog.
Turkish refineries’ total LPG production decreased to around 53,983 tons for December alone and annual exports decreased by 10.6 percent to about 243,227 tons compared to December 2013, according to the report released by the Energy Marketing Regulatory Authority.
Turkey imported LPG from eight countries in December 2014 – Algeria, Russia, Norway, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, France and Turkey’s free trade area.
Turkey's LPG exports increased by 46.4 percent to about 32,422 tons for December with only Switzerland, Northern Cyprus and Turkey's free trade areas making any imports, the report said.
The amount of autogas sold in Turkey over the same period in 2014 was 230,106 tons. Additionally, 66,479 tons of bottled LPG and 7,205 tons of bulk LPG were sold to Turkish customers.
