Turkey’s liquefied petroleum gas production was 53,222 tons for January 2015, according to the country's energy marketing watchdog.
Turkish refineries’ total LPG production amounted around 53,322 tons for January alone and monthly exports increased by 26,9 percent to about 274,121 tons compared to January 2014, according to the report released by the Energy Marketing Regulatory Authority.
Turkey imported LPG from eight countries in January 2015 – Algeria, Russia, Norway, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, France and Turkey’s free trade area.
Turkey's LPG exports increased by 73.8 percent to about 34,929 tons for January with only the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Northern Cyprus and Turkey's free trade areas making any imports, the report said.
The amount of autogas sold in Turkey over the same period was 292,163 tons. Additionally, 63,467 tons of bottled LPG and 11,388 tons of bulk LPG were sold to Turkish customers.
