Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas exports increased by 39.2 percent in 2014, compared to the previous year, the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) announced on Wednesday.
According EMRA's figures, in 2014 Turkey exported 111,382 tons of LPG, while imports of LPG increased by 1.4 percent and reached 3 million tons compared to 2013.
Switzerland became the first importer country from Turkey while it imported most of its LPG requirements from Algeria.

Turkey's LPG production saw an annual decrease in 2014 by 34,968 tons and became 698,385 tons.
In addition, in the same period of time, bottled LPG sales decreased by 4.8 percent and bulk LPG sales dropped by 11.2 percent, while autogas sales increased by 4 percent.
In 2014 the total LPG sales increased by 1.64 percent compared to previous year.
