Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production decreased by 14.6% to 74,897 tons in October, compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Monday.
EMRA's LPG market report showed that the country's LPG imports increased by 5.29%, reaching 294,208 tons in October 2024, with the majority of imports coming from Algeria, the US, Norway, Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
While the country's LPG exports fell by 20.8% year-on-year, to 37,996 tons in October.
The top ten destinations for Türkiye's LPG exports were Lebanon, Switzerland, Germany, Northern Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, the UAE, and Türkiye's free zones.
Total LPG sales reached 342,538 tons in October.
