Turkey's biggest petrochemicals firm Petkim appointed Ilhami Ozsahin and Ertugrul Altın as new members of the board of directors after its extraordinary general meeting today, according to a statement by the company Tuesday.
Ertugrul Altın was the undersecretary at the Turkish Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources since November 2015. He served as general manager of Trans-Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline (TANAP) between 2011-2013.
Ilhami Ozsahin previously worked in Turkish Electricity Transmission Company (TEAS) and Turkish Energy Regulatory Market (EPDK).
Sadettin Korkut, the general manager of Petkim, and Kenan Yavuz, a board member at Petkim, previously announced their resignment from the company.
