ANKARA (AA) - Turkey’s competition authority on Friday agreed to impose an administrative fine on four fuel distribution companies for violating competition law, the authority said in a statement.
The companies include Shell&Turcas Petrol, BP, Petrol Ofisi, OPET, which supply fuel and gasoline to many gas stations all over Turkey.
The fine will be 1% of the company's turnover achieved in 2018 in accordance with a Turkish law which prohibits any form of agreement that has the potential to prevent, restrict or distort competition, the statement added.
