A leakage at Statoil's Mongstad refinery in western Norway has halted and the situation has been deemed under control, the company announced on Tuesday.
The incident was reported to Statoil's emergency center at 07.14 local time on Tuesday morning.
Statoil said the situation was brought quickly under control when an naptha leakage was detected at Mongstad.
According to the company, all 108 people at the plant have been accounted for and no injuries have been reported.
'The alarm was triggered and parts of the plant were shut down. Emergency authorities were notified and the Statoil emergency organization was mobilized,' the company said.
The cause of the incident will be investigated, the company announced.
