Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports increased by 43.1% to 353,142 tonnes in November in 2022 compared to the same month in 2021, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed the country's imports originated from Algeria, the US, Russia, Kazakhstan, Norway, France, and Libya.
LPG production in November also increased to 77,472 tonnes, marking a year-on-year decrease of 18%.
Additionally, exports rose to around 49,738 tonnes in November, showing an increase of 136% compared to the same month last year.
Total LPG sales in November decreased by 12.8% to around 346,007 tonnes, comprising 268,968 tonnes of autogas, 50,450 tonnes of bottled LPG and 26,588 tonnes of bulk LPG.
