Türkiye's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 25.2% to 74,553 tons in April compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) latest report on Friday.
According to the country's LPG market report by EMRA, LPG imports rose by 16% to 355,125 tons in April 2024, with the Algeria, US, Georgia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Libya, Greece and Italy accounting for the majority of imports.
The country's LPG exports also rose by 119% year over year to 41,292 tons in April.
The top ten destinations that Türkiye exported LPG to were Germany, Ukraine, Romania, Switzerland, Lebanon, Bulgaria, UAE, Northern Cyprus, Singapore and Turkish Free Zones.
Total LPG sales reached 348,128 tons.
