Turkey's Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) announced on Thursday that there will be no hike in electricity prices in the third quarter of the year.
According to the announcement, EMRA completed its work to determine the electricity tariff for the third period from July 1 to Sept. 30, 2016.
'There will be no price hike reflected in consumers' bills,' EMRA said.
The energy authority determines electricity prices four times a year with different tariffs for domestic, commercial and industrial premises.
The last price rise was seen on the first day of 2016 with a 6.8 percent hike.
