Turkey's energy watchdog imposed on Saturday a $325,000 fine on three energy companies, according to their official gazette.
The three energy companies were fined $325,000 -- 747, 766 Turkish liras -- as they breached license requirements by holding products that contaminated fuel oil in stations, according to the Energy Market Regulatory Authority.
The watchdog asked five other companies for their defense statements.
The regulatory agency also authorized 15 new licenses and cancelled the licenses of six other firms.
