The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,050 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1500 - 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,640.01 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday’s electricity market showed an increase of 2.1% to 1.11 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,289.83 liras and 2,296 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set as 3,050 liras at 6 p.m. (1500 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,249.98 liras at 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. (0300 and 0400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 19.13 liras at 2.22 p.m. local time (1122 GMT) on Wednesday.
