Turkish Wind Energy Association (TWEA) aims to promote Türkiye's wind energy potential to a broader audience by participating in the WindEurope 2025 event, which will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from April 8 to 10.
According to a statement from TWEA, WindEurope 2025, which brings together global leaders in the wind energy sector, will host over 15,000 participants.
More than 550 companies will showcase their latest products and services, more than 70 sessions will be held, and over 350 speakers will discuss developments in the sector.

WindEurope, one of the world's most prestigious wind energy events that brings the industry together, carries particular significance for Türkiye this year.
Türkiye, which has announced its candidacy to host WindEurope 2028, will hold important meetings with TWEA and the accompanying delegation.
TWEA aims to strengthen collaborations with global stakeholders, keep up with innovations in the sector, and promote Türkiye's wind energy potential to a wider audience.
On April 9, the session titled 'New Wave in Turkish Wind: Growth, Investment, and Global Competition' will be held at WindEurope 2025, moderated by TWEA President Ibrahim Erden.
TWEA President Erden said that the association aims to strengthen collaborations with industry professionals through B2B meetings during the event.
Erden underlined that Türkiye's developments in the wind energy sector more visible internationally by developing strong and long-term relationships with global stakeholders.
'We proudly announced our candidacy to host WindEurope 2028, one of the most prestigious wind energy events in the world,' he said and added that this candidacy is an important opportunity to showcase Türkiye's strong position in the wind energy sector on the international stage and to enhance innovation and collaboration in renewable energy.

- Accelerating strategy for offshore wind projects
In addition to addressing the latest innovations and technological developments in the sector, WindEurope 2025 also provides participants the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge about offshore wind energy projects.
During the event, the TWEA delegation plans to accelerate Türkiye's strategies regarding offshore wind energy projects by observing the latest developments in this area.
The technical tours organized during the event will create significant opportunities for the delegation, while collaborations and exchanges of ideas with global wind energy sector leaders will enhance Türkiye's competitive power in this field and provide valuable insights into innovative technologies.
