• Türkiye’s foreign minister is due to pay a three-day visit to the United Arab Emirates at the invitation of his Emirati counterpart.

• German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Chinese President Xi Jinping vowed to work together in times of change and instability, and to contribute more to global peace and development.

• Britain’s Northern Ireland secretary confirmed that there will be no election in December, ahead of the holiday season, but pledged an announcement of unspecified “next steps.”

• Türkiye pledged to send grain and fertilizers to the least-developed and developing countries, especially in Africa.

• A Turkish penal court approved indictments for three Daesh/ISIS terror group members, including a senior member captured in September.

• Around 700 workers at London’s Heathrow Airport will strike for three days beginning Nov. 18 because of a pay dispute, according to the Unite Union.

• Authorities closed large parts of Spanish airspace as out-of-control Chinese rocket debris was hurled across Spanish skies.

• Turkish Airlines received the Airline Sustainability Innovation of the Year award from the Centre for Aviation (CAPA) for its innovative efforts for sustainability.

• President Vladimir Putin said 318,000 people were recruited under the partial military mobilization in Russia, while 49,000 are already carrying out combat missions in Ukraine.

• Adding Türkiye’s famed Cappadocia region to the UN list of the world’s most important geological heritage sites will shine an even brighter spotlight on its dazzling natural wonders, according to a local expert.

• Senior officials from around the world gathered for an international summit in Türkiye on the role of women as agents of change.

• Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan highlighted the significance of women in society at the summit hosted by an Istanbul-based women's advocacy group.

• The Group of Seven nations said it will help rebuild Ukraine's critical energy and water infrastructure amid ongoing Russian air strikes.

• It also urged Iran to stop the repression of protesters and release those who have been detained in recent weeks.

• The US and Canada sanctioned Haitian Senate President Joseph Lambert for a host of alleged rights abuses and involvement in international drug trafficking.

• At least 23 bodies were pulled from waters after a boat carrying asylum seekers sank in the Aegean Sea, according to Greek officials.

• Bulgaria's parliament approved the purchase of the country's second eight-piece batch of F-16 fighter jets from the US, said media reports.
