Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdag on Friday slammed those who work with PKK terrorist organization behind closed doors.

Speaking at a provincial meeting of the ruling Justice and Development (AK) party in central Malatya province, he said: "Those who do not like a powerful and stable country will stand against us. Be sure of that."

Bozdag added the nation will defend its leader against hostile intelligence agencies and terrorist organizations.

Referring to opposition People's Democratic Party (HDP), he said: "They are not honest...They are representatives of PKK."

The Turkish government has accused the HDP of having links to the PKK, which is listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S., and the EU.

He also expressed hope that the Felicity Party comprised of "brothers and sisters" will form an alliance with the ruling party in the upcoming 2019 elections.
