Turkish agency helps Turkmen refugees in Lebanon
Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency provides food and blankets to 210 Turkmen families

BEIRUT, Lebanon
The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) on Monday said it provided food and blankets to 210 Turkmen households in Lebanon.
“Turkish government and its agencies stand in solidarity with the Lebanese people,” TIKA's Lebanon Coordinator Serhat Kucukkurt told Anadolu Agency at the aid distribution ceremony.
Kucukkurt said the food and blankets were distributed among needy Turkmen families in Gusta town of Mount Lebanon district.
TIKA has spearheaded several projects in Lebanon.
Established in 1992, TIKA is the pioneer institution under the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey responsible for the implementation of development projects and programs in more than 100 countries covering health and humanitarian programs, education and agriculture.
