100th anniversary of Republic of Türkiye – All time capital Ankara views in same frame
Anadolu takes historical black-and-white photos reflecting different places of Ankara from same angle again on 100th anniversary of Republic of Türkiye
ANKARA
Anadolu has brought together the old and new views of the capital in one frame by taking 24 historical photos of different places from the same angles again after many years.
On the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye, Anadolu carried out a different work by reflecting black-and-white photographs of Ankara's historical buildings and symbols to the camera from the same angles.

Among the places that were removed from the news agency visual archive and photographed again are the first and second Parliament buildings, Ankara Palace, Ataturk Monument in Ulus, Ziraat and Is Bank buildings, Ethnography Museum and Anitkabir (Mausoleum).
In the work, part of which is projected on the mobile phone screen, the old and current looks of historical buildings and icons were harmonized in a wide frame from the same angle.
The work is completed in about two months by scanning thousands of black and white photos in the Anadolu visual archive.
