RABAT, Morocco 

King Muhammad VI has approved the country’s new government led by a member of the ruling Justice and Development Party (PJD).

According to a statement released by the Moroccan Royal Press Office, Prime Minister Saadeddine El Othmani will lead the Cabinet.

The coalition government will share portfolios between the PJD, National Rally of Independents, the People's Movement, Socialist Union of Popular Forces, the Party of Progress and Socialism and the Constitutional Union Party.
