NEW YORK
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken appointed Matthew Miller as the new State Department spokesperson Tuesday.
''Today, I am appointing Matthew Miller as the next State Department Spokesperson,'' Blinken said in a statement.
Miller previously served as the chief spokesperson for former Attorney General Eric Holder during the Obama administration.
He will replace Ned Price, who stepped down last month after more than two years to work directly for Blinken.
