Brazil's producer price index (PPI) increased 0.66% in September, rising for the eighth consecutive month, according to official data released Wednesday.
The PPI figure also showed a monthly gain of 0.66% in August.
A total of 17 sectors out of 24 saw gains in prices during the month of September, the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics said in a report.
The biggest monthly gain was seen in food with 3.7%, while extractive industries posted the largest decline with 5.85%.
On an annual basis, producer prices were up 1.06% in September, compared to the same month of last year.
