'Deeply disturbing news out of Kashmir’: Trump
US 'stands strong with India against terrorism,' says US president

WASHINGTON
US President Donald Trump expressed "full support" to India on Tuesday after dozens were killed when gunmen opened fire on tourists in Indian-administered Kashmir.
"Deeply disturbing news out of Kashmir. The United States stands strong with India against terrorism.
"We pray for the souls of those lost, and for the recovery of the injured. Prime Minister Modi, and the incredible people of India, have our full support and deepest sympathies," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
At least 25 people were killed after gunmen opened fire on a group of tourists in Kashmir.
Trump will speak with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to express his "heartfelt condolences," White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told reporters.
"These types of horrific events by terrorists are why those of us who work for peace and stability in the world continue our mission," said Leavitt.
