Hundreds of people gathered in Venezuela on Saturday to protest Israel’s ongoing campaign of violence in Gaza, marking one year since the conflict began.

Demonstrators marched through Francisco de Miranda Boulevard in the capital, Caracas, waving Palestinian and Lebanese flags in a show of solidarity.

The protestors condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza over the past year, voicing strong support for the Palestinian and Lebanese people.

Many carried signs calling attention to the suffering in Gaza and urging the international community to intervene.

Fadi Alzaben, the Palestinian Ambassador to Venezuela, addressed the crowd, highlighting the tragic loss of Palestinian lives due to Israeli attacks.

Representatives from the country’s Arab community reportedly met with Venezuela’s Foreign Minister, Yvan Gil, to discuss plans for humanitarian aid to Palestine.
