Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii erupts for 9th time since December
One of the world’s most active volcanoes continues frequent eruptions since 1983

The Kilauea Volcano in Hawaii, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, erupted again on Wednesday, according to the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory.

The eruption began around 10.16 am local time (2016GMT), marking the volcano’s ninth eruption since Dec. 23. with lava posing no threat to any residential areas.
Kilauea, recognized as the youngest and most active volcano on the island of Hawaii, has been erupting almost continuously since 1983. It is regarded as one of the most dynamic and closely monitored volcanoes in the world.
