Plane carrying Trump made emergency landing in New Orleans: report
Former US president's plane landed Saturday following his speech in New Orleans

WASHINGTON
Former US President Donald Trump's plane made an emergency landing Saturday evening in the US city of New Orleans, according to a report Wednesday.
Trump was in the city to deliver a speech at the Republican National Committee's private donor retreat.
The plane en route to Palm Beach, Florida was forced to landing after one of its four engines failed over the Gulf of Mexico, according to the Washington Post.
The unscheduled landing occurred shortly before 11 p.m. local time, the Post said, citing those familiar with the incident.
The plane flew nearly 75 miles after taking off from New Orleans Lakefront Airport, it said.
It also said the jet belonged to a donor who loaned it to Trump for the weekend, according to people familiar with the matter.
