Saudi crown prince explores bilateral ties, Mideast developments with new US secretary of state

ANKARA
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call on Thursday from new US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
Bin Salman and Rubio reviewed ties between the two countries and aspects of economic cooperation as well as the latest regional and international developments, the Saudi state news agency SPA reported.
On Wednesday, bin Salman and US President Donald Trump discussed ways of strengthening cooperation to maintain regional peace and security.
According to SPA, bin Salman congratulated Trump on his inauguration as the 47th new US president.
