TRIPOLI
The Turkish citizens killed and injured during the attack on Turkish Airlines (THY) office in Tripoli on Friday will be brought to Turkey via air ambulance.
THY ticket sales office in southern Tripoli was attacked and robbed by unidentified people, the Turkish Embassy in Tripoli said. Chief accountant Ugur Tezcan was killed while sales executive Nadide Nur Duman was severely injured in the attack. Duman was hospitalized, and put in intensive care.
A team from Turkish Airlines, Turkey's state-run air carrier, was sent to Libya to ensure the handover of Tezcan's body and transfer of Duman to Turkey via air ambulance.
Libyan police started an investigation into the attack.
