5.7 magnitude earthquake hits Afghanistan-Tajikistan border
Quake also felt in Pakistan, northern India

ISTANBUL
A 5.7 magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan near the border with Tajikistan on Saturday.
The quake occurred at a depth of 94.1 kilometers (58 miles) at 0706GMT, with the epicenter located at 36.24 degrees north latitude and 71.28 degrees east longitude, according to the Global Disaster Alert and Coordination System (GDACS).
The tremors were also felt in Pakistan and northern India.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or property damage.
