A 6.1 magnitude earthquake jolted the Vanuatu Islands on Sunday, with no immediate reports of casualties or damage to infrastructure.
The earthquake struck at a depth of 155.1 kilometers (96 miles), the German Research Center for Geosciences said.
No tsunami warning was issued.
The epicenter of the quake was initially determined to be at 14.52 degrees south latitude and 167.23 degrees east longitude.
