Public sentiment also varied before and after the court's decision.
Around 80% of respondents on Wednesday and Thursday said they would accept the ruling, but the number dropped to 71.2% on Friday.
Nearly 60% of the respondents said they want a candidate from the opposition bloc to win the next presidential race.
Some 37% said they would prefer to see the People Power Party become the ruling party again.
In terms of approval ratings, the opposition Democratic Party was ahead with 44.8%, while the ruling People Power Party posted 35.7%.
The presidential election is expected to be held on June 3.
