Japan's Foreign Ministry awards Turkish-Japanese body
Japanese consul general says association increased interaction between women from both countries

ISTANBUL
Japan's Foreign Ministry awarded the Turkish-Japanese Women's Association on Wednesday for enhancing ties between the two countries.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Japan's Istanbul Consul-General Norio Ehara said the association contributes greatly to increasing interaction between women in the countries.
The association's Turkey representative, Ayse Basyigit, also said they will continue working to contribute to world peace.
