ANKARA

At least seven people were killed and three others injured by a landslide in Pakistan’s northern Gilgit-Baltistan region on Wednesday, according to local Pakistani media.

The locals along with rescue teams arrived to the spot right after they received the reports of the incident. Search and rescue operations continue in the area, reports say.

Landslides have been responsible for a number of casualties every year in northern Pakistan.
