MOSCOW
A major fire broke out on Saturday in a building of a former plant in the east of Moscow that currently houses creative workshops and studios, according to the Russian Emergency Ministry.
At least 50 people were rescued from areas affected by the fire, 120 others evacuated from other building's premises, and eight people sought medical assistance, the ministry announced on Telegram.
The rescuers said some people may be trapped inside the building.
Electrical wiring malfunction is considered a preliminary cause of the fire.
