Over 30 injured as subway train splits in China
Accident occurs on Changping Line of Beijing Subway, reports media

ANKARA (AA) - Over 30 people were injured when a subway train split in the middle in the Chinese capital Beijing on Thursday, state media reported.
There were no fatalities in the accident that took place on the Changping Line of the Beijing Subway, the local daily Global Times reported.
The injured were transported to the hospital for treatment, while the cause of the accident is being investigated.
Several videos circulating on social media platforms show rescue workers loading the injured into ambulances and transporting them to hospital.
Another video shows a train split down the middle.
Preliminary findings suggested that the incident was caused by a vehicle malfunction, the daily said, citing the Beijing Subway authority.
Staff are currently organizing emergency rescue and evacuation efforts, it added.
