Powerful earthquake shakes Pacific island nation Tonga

ANKARA
A powerful 7.6-magnitude earthquake hit the Pacific island nation of Tonga on Wednesday, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
In a brief statement, the USGS said that the earthquake with a depth of 210.1 kilometers (130.5 miles) hit 95 km (59.03 miles) northwest of Hihifo village on the island.
