The Major Projects of the Republic book, prepared by Anadolu with contributions from the Transport and Infrastructure Ministry, has been released for sale.

Consisting of nine chapters, the book details the significant investments and projects carried out since the proclamation of the Turkish Republic.

The main sections of the book focus on investments in transportation, communication, health care, energy and water resources, defense industry, technology and industry, culture and arts, sports, and economic structures.

Serving as a guide for those seeking to understand the distance the country has covered over the past century, the book provides details on numerous projects implemented in nearly every sector.

Highlighting the most concrete evidence of Türkiye’s projects carried out with domestic and national resources, the book features major infrastructure investments from the past 100 years, including the July 15 Martyrs Bridge, Osmangazi and Yavuz Sultan Selim bridges, the Eurasia Tunnel, Marmaray, Istanbul Airport, and high-speed rail systems. It also covers significant projects in technology, health care, defense, aviation, construction, culture, energy, and architecture.

The book also details steps taken to boost the country’s production capacity and develop its domestic industry. It includes information on health care projects from the early years of the republic and recent initiatives such as the National Combat Aircraft, the Turkish Antarctic Research Station, Togg (Türkiye’s domestic electric vehicle), and renewable energy projects.

These globally recognized projects are presented with their opening dates, features, and integrated structures. Accompanied by infographics and photographs, the projects are presented in an encyclopedic format with high-quality paper and binding, painting a vivid picture of the “Strong Türkiye” vision.

The book also includes remarks from Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu.

“Investments implemented particularly in the fields of transportation and communication have played a significant role in the development of our international trade and production activities," Uraloglu said.
