Azerbaijani pianist, composer and vocalist Aziza Mustafa Zadeh, known as the "Princess of Jazz," met art enthusiasts at the Seventh Antalya Akra Jazz Festival on Friday in Antalya, Türkiye.
The concert, part of the festival organized by Akra Hotel and sponsored by Turkish Airlines, took place on the open-air stage of Akra Hotel.
Accompanied by bassist Ralf Cetto and percussionist Simon Zimbardo, Zadeh, renowned for her fusion and jazz compositions, captivated the audience with her powerful voice.
Zadeh included not only her compositions but also works by her father, the master musician Vagif Mustafa Zadeh, in the repertoire.
Zadeh invited her son, Ramiz Khan, to the stage. Khan's performance of beloved compositions garnered praise from the audience.
The festival will continue Saturday with the Turkish premiere of "Lost Ghost," a new album by pianist and composer Kerem Gorsev, one of the leading figures in the jazz world.
It will conclude June 12.
